This is a poster created from all the things that you told us about what ‘touchstones’ means to you and their value in your personal and professional lives.Â
The background is a layered map of the Sussex County Hospital and the Princess Royal.
Let us know what you think.
We distributed some postcards around the hospital to raise awareness of the new staff arts programme, and in particular this blog, among hospital staff. Here is a copy of the postcard. Please do let us know if you would like some postcards delivered to you to distribute among staff in your team or department.

We visited the hospital yesterday (May 19th 2015) and walked around the main circulation areas looking out for potential exhibition spaces for staff arts. We identified a few possibilities – here are some pictures, see if you can recognise the spaces. The plan is to host some pop-up exhibitions of staff art in the short term, and to commission some other staff works for longer term display next year. We look forward to collaborating with you all, and will be in touch via email shortly.

I carry this photograph of a rose with me along with some other personal photographs in my bag. When I look at this picture it makes me think about how to hold something or contain it without crushing it. How to allow it to develop or open up in a safe environment. I am very interested in art as therapy and expression.
